In my descriptive essay, I describe my experiences at a hockey game in Hershey. However, my first body paragraph discusses the food consumed before the game, and this is probably where most of the imagery from my paper is presented. The paragraph reads, "The line stretches out the door, but that is irrelevant. At around 5:15 p.m. EST, I enter Fuddruckers to indulge my taste buds with a delicious, juicy hamburger. Topped with fresh lettuce, sliced tomato, sweet pickles, and onions, and washed down with a fizzing glass of root beer, this meal is rather delightful. On certain occasions, I would consider stopping at a pizza shop or devouring a basket of wings, because almost any other alternative supersedes the greasy chicken fingers offered at the game. Today, however, I cannot pause to consider the detrimental health effects of my dinner choices. I take another bite of the burger." Readers can imagine the line out the door, the burger, the toppings, the soda, and even the chicken fingers at the game, and that is why this is one of the best examples of imagery from my paper.
