It is difficult to analyze one piece of writing by itself, but when compared and contrasted with another essay, readers begin to understand the elements of each point of view that make various perspectives unique.

Comparing views can help the reader to pick certain points out of the passage more easily and help the reader to understand those facts. The purpose of analysing a passage is to get a better understanding so the reader can make more accurate infrences and make more sense of a passage if it is difficult to understand.

An analysis is to pick a part an essay until someone figures out the structure, syntax, tone, diction, imagery, and purpose. Comparing and contrasting can help with this by focusing on what each essay is trying to prove or make a point of.

Some can be less credible if the events are a testament against their character and/or if they are being treated unjustly. Often the most trustworthy point of view is from a character not related in any way to the events that occur.

When you one have one point of view to analyze it can be difficult to analyze the entire argument. By seeing two sides of an argument a reader and carefully dissect different points and fully understand the argument they are reading.

Both diction and syntax are important to the development of a concise essay on a specific topic. In a side-by-side comparison of these aspects of 'analysis of style' the reader will be able to comprehend the purpose of each piece.

This helps with the analysis, because by being exposed to two sides of one topic can help the reader to understand the purpose of the writing. Having a more in depth look at each side of the story helps the reader to have more knowledge when picking a side.
